Home Remodel Time
Well, after Kyle built the casing to hide the ugly pipes, it didn’t quite match the fence it was up against.
So we got a match of paint at the good ol’ Home Depot and Kyle painted it to match the fence:
That’s our cute nephew, he was a big help!
So now the wood casing matched the fence, so it made it look a lot more cohesive. We didn’t want it to stand out so this made it blend in more.
Kyle also ended up painting the gate the same color too (it looks kinda hokey having one new panel along with all the old ones on the gate). I’ll show you a finished pic when I do the “Before and After” post for the front yard/front of the house, which is coming soon!
So that’s the first update back from a crazy haitus here on the blog. I’m glad to be back in the swing of things.
We’ve got more home remodel posts on the way, also other posts mixed in about cool stuff that I want to share. For instance, in the next post I’m going to brag about how I ran a marathon. It was one of my life goals, so I was so glad to check that one off the list! Not only that, but we’re gonna finish up the front yard and get started on the kitchen. The kitchen is by far one of the more amazing transformations of our home remodel, so you do not want to miss it! stay tuned!
