Beach Bungalow Time

Awhile back, I told you about how I found these two chairs in the alley that someone was giving away for free (just to clarify, there was a sign that said “FREE” next to them). So of course, I hopped right on that and drug them over to my yard. I knew immediately that I wanted to have them be extra seating in the yard and that I wanted to paint them, not only because they were old, ugly, and dirty, but also because it would be fun. Who doesn’t love customized furniture?

Well, I didn’t know for sure how I was going to paint them, or what color, but I think I finally have my plan all in order. I first painted Chair One gray a month or so ago.

Today I sanded and painted Chair Two white.

I still need to paint each chair another layer of their respective color. Then I have a really cool idea for each of them that I’m really hoping turns out cool. I will update you when that time comes.

I’m also planning on making a table out of the non-functional wood gate I had to tear down. The fence panels for the gate are leaning against the fence behind the gray and white chairs.

For now, I’m off to go for a quick run, then I gotta get ready for a party we’re going to tonight to watch Troll 2 of course! I’m still not sure if I’m going to dress up as something, but if I do, I’ll take a pic and show you tomorrow.
