One Year Anniversary Day Three

First I want to update you on the Bloom into Spring Exchange.

For those who joined, everyone should have received an email with their partner. You gotta email that person and give them your address. Then you go out shopping. Don’t spend more than $15 (before shipping). Get your favorite item(s) that remind you of spring. Send your package by April 4th. Then you’ll receive your package and love the goodies you got! Blog about what you got from your partner on April 18th and link up to and so everyone can see what everyone else got.

Now that the business is out of the way, let’s get on to the main reason for this post: LOVE!

Anniversary Day One

Anniversary Day Two

Here we are now on Day Three. We did some cool things and saw some amazing things on Day Three of our camping trip.

We got to witness a rescue, which was way overdone by the firefighters if you ask me. I figure, if people can get up on a cliff, they should be able to get down. It was pretty hilarious. Just watch the video and you’ll see how many firefighters came to rescue this couple.

Stay tuned to the end to see our rescue footage and skimboarding videos.

We also trespassed behind some cliffs that were on the ocean that we technically weren’t supposed to go to. We call it our secret place. Technically, we got there by climbing down the cliffs way down the way, and then going down the beach on the rocky cliff, so “we didn’t see any signs”, or go over or under any fences!

Really, you’re just not supposed to go over there for your own safety, because it’s owned by the government and I guess they see it as a liability if people get hurt over there, because there are some dangerous spots. Like for instance, in the video, you’ll see the road that basically goes off the cliff. They had to move the road a bit more inland because the original one basically just crumbled and fell.

But once you get past that and over another portion of cliff, it is a really amazing place, and secluded. It’s like your own private “beach”. You gotta watch the video to see the pics (I also captured some video of the waves coming up there, it was so serene). I tend to like to go places that I’m not supposed to go, I guess because it’s more exciting. Otherwise, we never would have found this awesome place. We went camping again at the same place for our Third Anniversary and we went to our secret place. There was a big bird there and Kyle even picked it up. We think it was injured. But the next day we were on the beach and we saw the bird! And he flew away, so we knew he was safe ๐Ÿ™‚ We’ll talk about that more later when we get to that point in our journey here at 1house1couple.

For now, it’s time to watch Day Three of our anniversary camping trip video. This time for the song, we’ve got Aquarius, Let the Sun Shine, by The Fifth Dimension. I like this song because it’s so fun and also funny. I’m not a big “spiritualist” and I’m not into astrology (besides just for fun). I’m also not a hippie, but I still enjoy songs like this.

Enjoy the show!

Have you ever gone somewhere you’re not supposed to go? Do you like to go on adventures, or do you like to stay on the safe-side? Have you ever witnessed a rescue, or any awesome heroic event? here to leave a comment!

  1. I love this video! So much fun! The sound of the waves is so relaxing — I could listen to that all day. ๐Ÿ™‚ I am definitely someone who feels better staying on the safe side; but I totally admire people who love adventures!

Hi Maria, yeah, the sound with the camera was a little scruffy, but you can still hear the waves ๐Ÿ™‚

I recalled a statement of my neighbor when I pleaded to him to lend me his ladder to rescue my cat who was onced trapped in a tree. He said, “Relax, he will go down when he gets hungry”. He was right.

Too bad those people in the cliff we less courageous than an average cat.
