Welcome back to One House, One Couple, where it only takes one couple to transform one ugly house into a beautiful home.
If you’re here for the first time, Start at the Beginning.
We’re continuing on with our tour, so wipe your feet because I just cleaned the floors!
After going up the stairs, we head straight into the master bedroom. The “master suite” is on its own level at the top of the house where the king and queen belong!
Sorry that these photos leave much to be desired. We didn’t go to photography school to shoot these photos. They were really just meant for our own personal memoir, and now they’re going public.
Now here’s the master bedroom:

More view of the closet with the mirrored doors. If I remember correctly, there was actually only one door, the other was missing. Oh, look, there's me!

Now standing at the doorway and looking toward the right, this is what you see. More shutters, but these ones aren't so nice as the rest of the house with the big white ones.

Now standing on the other side of the bedroom looking the opposite direction. The door on the left is the door to the outside private master suite balcony, huge perk if you ask me. The door on the right is the one we entered the room from. Oh yeah, and as you can see, there is no actual door there.

These shutters are actually not very functional. As you can see, they're actually broken. One piece is leaning against the wall over there.

This is what you see when you look outside the balcony door. We make this whole situation much better. I can't wait to show you what we do!

Standing on the balcony looking into the bedroom. Did I mention that I love the color of this carpet!!! lol!

This is what you see when you're leaving the bedroom to go back down he stairs, but we're not leaving yet because we're going to show you the bathroom first.

Funny thing is the best view in the house is from the master bathroom! Nice to wake up to at least
Not the side of the house there, though. that's ugly.

This is the view of our neighbor's yard from the master bath. I really like it because of all the trees. We have a shortage of trees in California, so... And you can see the railing from the big deck that's on the side of the house which we will show you later.
That concludes the tour of the INTERIOR portion of the house. The master bath gets a major demo and remodel, so that will be exciting to share with you.
On Monday we will continue the tour in the backyard. There’s a lot of wacky stuff out there to show you. Some good, some bad, some ugly. So come back for that.
